Module 6 Getting Around Copyright: Pinterest, Instagram & Flickr

Activities/Assignments Have a look at Paul and Storm’s remix of New Yorker cartoons with captions from Kanye’s tweets: http://twitpic.com/tag/kanyenewyorkertweets. Create your own cartoon mashup using an  image found on a social media platform and write a caption with someone’s public tweet or tumblr or LinkedIn status update. Use whatever software you would like such as Word or PPT or an online editing site Pixlr.com. Post your mashup on the class blog and tweet the link to it. On the blog post be sure to cite all sources used (APA format) Due in class Nov. 6 Assignment C - Curating Images and Copyright (group assignment) Due in class Nov. 6
